Workshop is 12/7 from 11-1 in The Post Supply Back of House
Wreath making in Maine is a long-standing tradition. Rachel Alexandrou of Giantdaughter turns this tradition into an exercise in experimentation and botanical play within the form of a wreath.
In this class, learn how to identify which plants in our landscape make wonderful wreaths and make your own 18”-24” wreath with forager, artist and wreath maker Rachel Alexandrou. Bring the charm and sweet evergreen scent of the Maine woods home with you while also learning a bit about botanicals in Maine. All materials and tools will be provided including wreath rings, wire, gloves, clippers, and a bounty of evergreens, berries and other wild plants.
